The first version of Flightmap has been created by Konstantin Koll in 2007. Konstantin is an aviation enthusiast, claims he can fly an airliner himself (though nobody ever wanted to put that to the test), and is a savant coder. He likes to be in charge of everything, so his software rarely uses any libraries or other third-party stuff. Konstantin's software delivers the highest quality in both function and design—and when something really does go wrong, he's very quick at fixing it!
Between late 2011 and June 2012, he's re-written Flightmap from scratch in C++ and gave it an all-new user interface. Flightmap is now published as a side project by his own software company liquidFOLDERS.
In his free time, Konstantin likes good food, photography and travelling. Follow him on Instagram to see pictures of airliners and his travels, or read his blog.
